    If you are on this website, chances are you are ready to take a step towards healing or working through a particular issue or issues that is bringing you discomfort and/or distress. I understand that there is a certain level of anxiety in taking this step. Please know that you are in the right place. The therapeutic relationship is a unique one in that it develops quickly despite initially being strangers, but it is also develops deeply in a short period of time.

    Research shows that the most significant factor in a successful relationship with your therapist, is the experience of "feeling felt" (Gottlieb). Getting support from a neutral, confidential person can help you discern more clearly what has been developing and create new ways to think about yourself and others and how you operate in the world around you. My clients will often hear me say that therapy does not change other people or situations, but it helps us navigate others and situations. I look forward to helping you navigate your journey.

    Therapeutic Philosophy

    Believing in a holistic approach, I emphasize the importance of understanding the mind-body connection and tailoring therapy to each client's individual needs. I will also highlight the importance of what is done outside of our weekly sessions to continue to help you evolve and become the best version of yourself. There is tremendous healing power in the triad of therapy, physical movement and nutrition; each play a part in your overall wellness.
